BanFire Intumescent Fire Retardant Paint is an effective and affordable intumescent fire retardant paint. Class 'A' Rated according to ASTM E84 Standard for Construction Materials. Theatrical stages, boiler rooms, elevator shafts, electrical support panels, basem*nts, children's bedrooms, day care centers, and more. Use on Lumber, Plywood, OSB, MDF, Particle Board, and similar materials. Use when time rating is not required. Can be topcoated or painted over without loss of effectiveness. Coverage rate 350-400 sq ft per gallon.Standard colors are White, Grey, Tan and Black. Custom colors are available for 5 gallon pails.

APPLICATION: Surface must be clean and dry. Stir paint very thoroughly before use, because solids may settle during transit. Do not dilute. Paint may be applied by brush, roller or sprayer, at a coverage rate of 325-400 sq ft per gallon, 4.5-5 wet mils thickness. If additional coats are needed, wait until first coat has dried completely (8-12 hours depending on temperature and humidity). Rinse equipment with water.
