Up for an afternoon of flower-filled adventure this spring (or just need a new backdrop for your posts)?
Using ‘eye-tracking’ software torecord the average length of time peoplelingered onphotos ofdifferent flower fields, hotel chainPremier Innhas just released a ranking of the world’s most beautiful flower fields.
Topping the list is Daisy Flower Field in Chile’s Torres del Paine National Park, withpeoplelingering on a photo of the mountain-backed field foran average of 3.89 seconds. It's the only South American destination to feature.
Europe boasts some of the world's most scenic flower fields, with eight of the top 15 flower fields in the world located here. In second place, Monet's Garden at Giverny in France is tied with the Crested Butte Wildflower Festival in Colorado, US, with an average gaze timeof 3.46 seconds. Canada’s Butchart Gardens and Mainau Island in Germanycomplete the top five.
Two UK fields found a spot in the top 15. The stunningsunflower fields at Hitchin Lavender Farm in Hertfordshire just made it into the top ten, while Castle Farm Lavender Field in Kent earned the fourteenth spot in global rankings.
